St. Augustine, Florida
October 11–13, 2019

You are cordially invited to join The Historic New Orleans Collection for a trip to St. Augustine, Florida, the oldest city in the United States. Designed as a prelude to THNOC’s 2020 exhibition New Orleans and the Spanish Caribbean, the weekend getaway will offer insight into the glories of Spanish colonial architecture and the legacy of the Gilded Age.

 
Registration is limited to THNOC’s Laussat Society and Bienville Circle through August 12, 2019. After that, it will be open to all interested individuals. Participants will enjoy lodging at the Casa Monica, a luxury accommodation in the heart of the city’s historic district. Please see the itinerary for trip highlights. Annual Study Tours

 

The Great Palaces of Madrid and Seville
March 15–24, 2020 with an optional extension to Tenerife, March 24–27, 2020

In anticipation of The Collection’s forthcoming exhibition Spanish New Orleans and the Caribbean (opening in October 2020), our 2020 study tour will take us to Spain. The overarching theme of the tour will be great private residences and their collections in Madrid and Seville, with an optional extension to the Canary Islands. Highlights will include private early morning openings of the Prado, Thyssen-Bornemisza, and Cerralbo Museums in Madrid; openings of three beautiful private historic residences; exclusive tours of the most beautiful royal palaces of Madrid and Seville; private lunch on an estate in Córdoba; and an exclusive opening and private dinner in the Lebrija Palace in Seville.

Tour registration prior to September 18, 2019, is reserved for members of THNOC’s Bienville Circle and Laussat Society. After that, it will be open to all interested individuals. Please see the itinerary for highlights and to register.
