The Education Galleries provide the The Historic New Orleans Collection’s first dedicated space for people of all ages to touch, see, smell, and hear the awe-inspiring culture of the city.
The French Quarter Galleries explore how and why the neighborhood developed, how life has been lived here by various populations in different times, and how the legacies that remain shape our lives.
This permanent exhibition presents a narrative of the state’s history using art and artifacts that date from precolonial history through Hurricane Katrina.
