THNOC is celebrating Black History Month throughout February with special guided tours of the Louisiana History Galleries that explore the history of free people of color in New Orleans.

THNOC is leaping into Women's History Month early with a special celebration on Saturday, February 29, featuring a sash-making station, a living history suffragette, and, of course, cake.

To celebrate Black History Month, we are hosting an encore of our NOLA Resistance Workshop at the New Orleans African American Museum.
