A variety of tours are available daily at the Royal Street complex.
Adult and Family Tours
In addition to free self-guided tours of the changing exhibitions in the Williams Gallery, THNOC offers self-guided tours of the Louisiana History Galleries, as well as docent led-tours of the Williams Residence and an architectural tour of THNOC's buildings and courtyards. Williams Residence and/or Architecture and Courtyard Tour (docent-led)
Tour: 45 minutes
Tuesday–Saturday; 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m.
Sunday: 11 a.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m
Tours begin at 533 Royal Street.

First Friday 50-Cent Tours
The first Friday of each month in 2016
Friday, November 4, and Friday, December 2, 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 2 p.m., and 3 p.m.
Suggested donation: $0.50
As part of its ongoing 50th anniversary celebrations, THNOC is offering First Friday 50-Cent Tours. The first Friday of each month in 2016, we are presenting three tours for only $0.50: Architecture and Courtyard, Williams Residence, or a themed tour of the Louisiana History Galleries. November's tour will discuss free people of color, and December will focus on the holiday season in New Orleans. Tours are available at 10:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. Each tour is limited to 10 people, and no reservations will be taken.

THNOC welcomes schoolchildren of all ages. Customized field trips—which could include docent-led tours, special lectures, or guided visits to our research center—will bring the region’s history to life for students.
