Architecture and Courtyard Tour via Cell Phone or Podcast
THNOC offers a free, self-guided audio version of the Architecture and Courtyard Tour by cell phone or iPod. To experience the self-guided options, you can download the 8-part tour to your iPod (THNOC Architectural Tour: Introduction and parts 1–7); it is also available through iTunes (search for "The Historic New Orleans Collection"). Preloaded iPods are also available for on-site use in the Orientation Center at 533 Royal Street.

For the cell phone audio tour, call (504) 799-0178 to be guided along Royal and Toulouse Streets. Building-specific codes are provided at the entrance to each of the Royal Street campus buildings: Merieult House (533 Royal Street), the Townhouse (714 Toulouse Street), the Williams Residence (718 Toulouse Street), the Louis Adam House (722 Toulouse Street), and the Creole Cottage (726–28 Toulouse Street).

New Orleans, the Founding Era bilingual mobile app tour
Explore the French colonial period with a bilingual (French and English) mobile gallery tour that was designed to accompany the exhibition New Orleans, the Founding Era. The exhibition, which was on view February 27 through May 27, 2018, at THNOC’s Royal Street campus, brought together a vast array of rare artifacts from THNOC’S holdings and from institutions across Europe and North America to tell the stories of the city’s earliest days. The app includes information about objects that were on display, as well as video interviews with curators.
