Old rating: yellow with green stripes (changed in 1976 from brown); new rating: main and service -- green; infill construction -- brown. Although the Vieux Carré Commission originally coded this building as "brown" and dated it to 1920, comparison of its windows, floors, cornice line with those of 524 and 528 St. Philip indicates that these buildings remain from the c. 1835 row of buildings, which included the two-above mentioned buildings. Its original ground floor arched openings and wrought iron balconies, however, have been removed.
