[N.B: At the time that the chains of title were abstracted for the VCS, the two distinct buildings at 723-725 Iberville and 727-731 Iberville belonged to the same lot (Lot 11332).] 723-725 Iberville. No change: green with brown-rated additions (in courtyard). C. 1840 3½-story red-brick townhouse with attached service wing and c. 1850 double-level galleries. The ground floor openings, which are arched today to create an arcade effect, originally probably had a Greek Revival entrance and two windows. 727-731 Iberville. No change: green; courtyard infill -- brown. A finely detailed 3½-story double building in the Creole tradition. The c. 1830 building, which perhaps originally had arched ground floor openings, has decorative lintels above the windows, molded panels beneath these openings, basket balconies on the second level, a masonry cornice and round-headed dormers.
