For three centuries, the stories of immigrants have been woven into the fabric of the city known, to its native inhabitants, as Bulbancha. As part of Welcoming Week, The Historic New Orleans Collection is offering a look at the history of immigration in the Crescent City and the ways in which immigrants have shaped the identity of New Orleans. The tour lasts about one hour and will take place in the Louisiana History Galleries at THNOC’s 533 Royal Street campus.
