Join The Historic New Orleans Collection as we revisit the film Number One (1969), a curious cross between the history of sports and popular culture in the history of the Crescent City. Saints quarterbacks have enjoyed fame since the franchise's earliest days, and Charlton Heston plays a fictional gunslinger who couldn't quit the game in Number One. Critically panned, but loved among the Saints faithful, the movie also features Jessica Walter and Bruce Dern and was filmed during real football games at Tulane Stadium.

Admission to the event is $10; $5 for THNOC members; and free for Caillot Circle, Mahalia, Jackson, Laussat Society, and Bieville Circle members. Not a member? Join online or call (504) 598-7155.
