Presented once a quarter for THNOC members, the 2020 Williams Decorative Arts Lectures will highlight new research ranging on topics from Spanish furniture to pottery found beneath Tremé. Lectures begin at 10 a.m. in the Counting House, 533 Royal Street. Registration is strongly encouraged.

In the final program of the 2020 series, Lydia Blackmore interviews Dr. Wayne Stromeyer about how his collection of Louisiana chairs and beds inspired him to learn more about possible design precedents in Spanish furniture. Guests then receive a guided tour of the exhibition Spanish New Orleans and the Caribbean, with a close look at furnishings on display.
