To keep the holiday spirit rolling, St. Louis Cathedral's Young Artist in Residence, Loriane Llorca, will give special holiday-themed performances on THNOC's recently restored Aeolian organ. Llorca, a student at the Paris Conservatory, will play "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy" from Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker and "Silent Night" from Samuel Barber's Die Natali

The performances, which are free and open to the public, will take place in the Barbara S. Beckman Music Room on the third floor of THNOC's exhibition center at 520 Royal Street. Regular organ demonstrations will take place at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on those days. The instrument, which was built by the Aeolian Company of New York, is one of a handful that has survived to this day in its original location and in working condition, fresh off a meticulous restoration by the Holtkamp Organ Company.
