THNOC's groundbreaking exhibition Art of the City: Postmodern to Post-Katrina, presented by The Helis Foundation, will host extended gallery hours on Saturday, August 10, during Dirty Linen Night. The exhibition, along with The Shop at The Collection and Café Cour, will remain open from 4:30 to 9 p.m. that evening.

During the extended hours, THNOC oral historian Mark Cave will interview four living artists—Willie Birch, Keith Calhoun, Chandra McCormick, and Robert Tannen—for the Oral History—Live! event, which was rescheduled due to Hurricane Barry. Cave will interview two artists at a time, and audience members will be able to ask questions of their own. Admission to both the exhibition and the event is free, and no reservations are required.
