Registration is now open.
Registration is now open for the 18th annual Williams Research Center Symposium, Seeking the Unknown: Perspectives on Louisiana’s Natural History.
Presented in conjunction with an exhibition opening the same day, this year’s event will explore topics from prehistoric American Indians to modern naturalists. Capturing the imagination of those miles away and across the seas, early explorers’ interactions with strange lands expanded understanding of the known world and its vastly different environments. Join us Saturday, February 23, at the Hotel Monteleone in New Orleans, as scholars from across the country discuss Louisiana’s natural history and how it has been viewed through the centuries. Registration is required, and early registration rates range from $40 to $75. Rates will increase to $85 after February 1.
