Educational Outreach

Actively engaging students in the study of the history of their community and the state of Louisiana

The Collection’s educational outreach program brings history to life for the thousands of students in grades K–12 throughout the region.  The program offers direct presentations in the classroom, community programs, field trips to The Collection’s changing exhibitions and to the Louisiana History Galleries, and professional training workshops for teachers.  For more information about the educational outreach program, contact Sue Laudeman, curator of education, (504) 598-7154; sue@hnoc.org.
