The Brulatour Courtyard, 520 Royal St.
All Day • Arts & Crafts Projects
Family Day continues across the street at the Brulatour Courtyard, where children can create their own wetland scenes and learn about the importance of coastal preservation through arts and crafts. In addition, kids will have the opportunity to create their own shrimp boot art (like those on display in the Orientation Center) to take home.

All Day • Exhibition and Demonstration from the Wetland Watchers
The Wetland Watchers, a group of students from Harry M. Hurst Middle School in Destrehan, Louisiana, are committed to preserving our wetlands. Members of this student organization will be at Family Day with their teacher, Mr. Barry Guillot, and with some of the live wetland creatures that need our help to restore their habitat.

All Day • Gone-Fishin' Game
Our youngest visitors will have the opportunity to "go fish" in the "pond" in the courtyard for the chance to win a prize.

All Day • Demonstrations from the National Park Service
The National Park Service will be on site with two park rangers and the NPS Wetland Trunk.

All Day • Demonstrations from the U.S. Coast Guard
