The reading room at the Williams Research Center is open to the public from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Tuesday-Saturday excluding holidays.

Generally, the holidays observed will be New Year's Eve; New Year's Day; Mardi Gras days (Saturday, Monday and Tuesday); Good Friday; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Eve; Christmas Day.

Parking
There are many paid parking areas in the French Quarter in various locations and most are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Parking fees vary widely. French Quarter parking lots can fill up early during special events, such as Mardi Gras or the French Quarter Festival. Metered on-street parking is limited, and drivers are advised to closely observe signage.
